Homework Tuesday, October 23rd

READING: Read for 30+ minutes and log. Remember to stop and jot down your thoughts you are having about your characters. Take your best post it, and stick it in your reading notebook with the date next to it.

Ida B. is the kind of person who doesn't verbally share what is bothering her. I think she really does want people to know how sad she is, but she doesn't know how to say it. Instead of talking to others, she is acting out of character in hopes that someone will notice her sadness and frustration. 





WORD STUDY: Due Wednesday. Please bring home and catch-up if needed.

WRITING WORKSHOP: If you need to catch up on your publishing, please bring home and work on this.

Record the time and games played each day on your play log. Play at least 10 minutes each night.

STAR BOOK: Read My Secret Bully with a parent or guardian. If it is your night with the book, please read the S.T.A.R. book together with a parent, talk about the discussion questions on the inside cover, and fill out the response sheet. It is important to provide your comments and reactions on the bottom. Upon completion, please cross of your name and bring it to school the next day. Hand the book to the next person on the list.
