Homework Week 1/30 - 2/3

READING: Remember each night you are required to read for a total of 30 minutes (15 minutes NF and 15 minutes F). Remember to date each NF entry (boxes and bullets OR character traits/wants/struggles/lessons learned) in Reader's Notebook.

Edison's Workshop

High Touch High Tech made a visit to our classroom to teach us all about electricity! Thank you Mr. O for teaching us about electricity and conducting many experiments! We learned to be safe when going near electricity and outlets. Mr. O showed us what happens when you get shocked by using a pickle! We learned to create a buzzer, make a simple circuit, series circuit, and parallel circuit. We also learned about atoms, protons, and neutrons! Lastly, we learned about static electricity. 1. We will continue using our new logs to track our reading and math assignments.

2. We are also trying to play math games related to our unit of study for a total of 35-45 minutes for the week. This week you will start to explore time and reinforce your multiplication skills. Try to push yourself to play both types of games using Skillbuilders.

5. We are counting down the day until February break. (OM)
