Homework Week 1/30 - 2/3
READING: Remember each night you are required to read for a total of 30 minutes (15 minutes NF and 15 minutes F). Remember to date each NF entry (boxes and bullets OR character traits/wants/struggles/lessons learned) in Reader's Notebook.
MATH: Our goal is to play 40-45 minutes this week. This week you will continue to explore Shapes and Perimeter. Try each game at least once.

Edison's Workshop
High Touch High Tech made a visit to our classroom to teach us all about electricity! Thank you Mr. O for teaching us about electricity and conducting many experiments! We learned to be safe when going near electricity and outlets. Mr. O showed us what happens when you get shocked by using a pickle! We learned to create a buzzer, make a simple circuit, series circuit, and parallel circuit. We also learned about atoms, protons, and neutrons! Lastly, we learned about static electricity.
